Our Mission:
The mission of Sacred Lands Preservation and Education is to preserve the past and enrich the future. Our focus is on:
– The preservation of land that has historic and cultural value, specifically to Florida’s First People
– Experiential education about the importance of building connections between the past and present.
We meet these goals by stewarding a 1000+ year old Tocobaga archeological site and the surrounding natural environment in St. Petersburg, Florida, and by hosting programming and events such as speaker series, art and music performances, and permaculture workshops.
